Some of the finest cover artists from around the world attend the 5 outdoor sound stages sited around the city as well as new up and coming bands. Logistics for this event are handled superbly well with the whole of the city centre being closed to traffic for the two days. Apart from the main stages placed around the city, there are plenty of other venues offering all types of live music.
Mathew Street itself, home of the Cavern Club and where the Beatles were first discovered, becomes a cacophony of live sound, ambience and good humor, erupting from the numerous clubs and bars.
As well as the music festival, there is the superb waterfont and Albert Dock with it’s museums, galleries and restaurants.
